CHRISTMAS BREAKUP—NOVEMBER  26

The Club-Funded Event.

 What made it such an outstanding happening?

Well....Club stalwarts Ian (Pres) and Graham (VP) planned, investigated and booked an excellent hall located between Melbourne and Geelong.

They publicised, planned on 50 attendees, sourced all the food and equipment and lugged it to Rowsley.

Boy, did the volunteers then take on the work.... from James Linton leading the BBQ cooks to the many members, led by Polly Smith, “slaving in the kitchen” preparing- serving—cleaning. (You volunteers know who you are).

Yes, Captain Sam organised a one-hour pre-lunch ride and yes, many hands turned out to leave the hall in the same sharp, as-found condition.

All sounds so efficient doesn’t it?  Well it was and caused by a major effort all round, so congratulation and thanks all round.
