Geelong 1st Sunday of the Month Run Report, 5th March

Numbers were down a bit this week – probably as the day looked to be a bit hot (35*C)? Nick Oakley had offered to lead the ride and the destination was Ballan. He took us a good route through Maude and Steiglitz then  on to Meredith. We continued on a somewhat bumpy single lane road through Morrisons to eventually come out on the Geelong- Ballan Rd at Fiskville.

Good fellowship ensued over coffee at the Ballan bakery after which Nick took as back via  Mt Glenmore road eventually joining the Bacchus Marsh – Geelong Rd and then home to Geelong.

All in all a good ride of some 150kms (and we beat the heat  to be greeted by a thunderstorm just before arriving home)
