Geelong shed ride.

Eleven riders met at “Maccas” Waurn Ponds for this months shed ride. Our destination being Mal Loon’s place in South Geelong.

After a few kilometres we were into very nice motorcycling roads through Ceres, onto Merrawarp rd, over the Colac Rd heading for Moriac, a left turn onto Mt Duneed rd, over the Surf Coast and turning left onto Horseshoe Bend rd.

The new houses being built out this way is simply amazing.

Turning right into Boundary rd, then left onto the Barwon Heads rd, over the Barwon River then to Mal’s place for a tasty spread of Pikelets, cakes, tea and coffee arranged by Mal’s wife Jill.

Noel Wills got a pleasant surprise when a birthday cake appeared to mark his special day.

After much motorcycle banter and look at Mal’s bikes it was time to go our separate ways. Every bike on the ride had a red plate (well done lads) Noels brother Norm made the trip from Melbourne to celebrate the occasion.

Special thanks to Mal for leading the short ride and special thanks to Bernie Hollander for T.E.C. duties. A great day with great people.
