Geelong First Sunday Ride report – 3 November

It was suggested a few rides back that we would ride to the Lake Goldsmith steam rally this month.

With some riders having commitments, only a  small number of riders went to the steam rally with the others opting for a shorter ride. With cloudy conditions Aaron took on ride leader duties and Graeme bringing up the rear we headed out through Ceres onto Pollocksford Bridge Rd to the Hamilton Hwy and  Inverleigh stopping at Shellford to bid farewell to the riders doing the shorter ride.

The road to Rokewood and Skipton is boring for bikes. At Skipton Graeme was not feeling well so he headed for home. Arriving at Lake Goldsmith we were treated to many varied and interesting bits of machinery in working order.

After  Couple of hours walking around it was helmets on and head for home after an enjoyable day. 340ks for me.
