Geelong Ride Report, 15 August

I was looking forward to this being my first ride for 3 or 4 weeks after being away, I missing the previous ride and with Covid lockdowns that are still in place in Melbourne, life’s normal activities are becoming harder to plan and have becoming more spontaneous.
We headed out from Highton through Ceres, Merrawarp Road, along the Fyansford-Gheringphap Road, a short run up the Midland Hwy into Bakers Bridge Road, then towards Steiglitz, and detoured from Parker Road to Bannockburn via Clyde Rd.
Continuing onto Teesdale we turned left and finished our ride at the Inverleigh Bakehouse.
Good coffee and conversation, throw in a bit of banter all makes for a great day out.
The weather was nice and sunny, and then all of a sudden the wind picked up, helmets and gloves were being blown away, making a perfect time to saddle up.
A very pleasant morning, thank you to everyone.
Ron Study.
