Geelong Run Report
3rd Sunday of the Month 21/8/2022
Can it be that the weather is improving? Sunshine on Sunday brought out a few of the fellas and after a vote it was decided to go for a somewhat shorter run and concentrate on having coffee in a nice sunny spot. Anglesea was the pick!
Stan led and we travelled down Surf Coast Highway a bit, turned right at Whites Road only to finds that the ubiquitous developments and road works around Armstrong Creek meant it was closed to traffic! A U Turn and backtracking a kilometer or two to Baanyip Drive got us to Gazeepore Rd and then straight through to Freshwater Creek. Down the Anglesea Rd a little then right into Blackgate Rd, Grassdale Rd then Paraparap to meet Hendy Main Rd.
Soon we were flying down Forest Rd and then Stan took us down his favourite detour past the Anglesea Tip and Recycling Station.
(fortunately for his Triumph it didn’t even splutter or cough whilst passing by)!
Coffee and good fellowship in the sun at Anglesea .
