Geelong Run Report, Christmas Break 19 Dec 2021

The final run for the year saw eight eager riders turn up to be led by Ron to much anticipated Christmas cakes, party pies and coffee at his place in Breakwater.

Ron led a fairly relaxed ride through Ceres and down to the old Colac road, left turn at Moriac then through Mt Duneed to the coast. We cruised past 13th Beach and then Ocean Grove and back north to the Queenscliffe highway. From there it was a straight run back towards Breakwater and Ron’s house. His wife Trish had put on a lovely spread for us to mark Xmas and the end of a challenging year. Very much appreciated by all – together with the fact that we have managed to complete the year safely with many more rides than our poor Melbourne mates.

A big highlight of the day was that Noel Wills had just celebrated his 80th birthday and Trish even provided a cake! Still riding Noel! Fantastic and well done – lets see many more!
