Sunday Ride, 24 March

We left the starting point and headed to Diamond Creek and just before Hurstbridge we turned right and made our way to the Eltham-Yarra Glen Road, then zig zagged our way up past the hill climb and down to St. Andrews. We then went through Cottles Bridge, Arthurs Creek and onto the road to Whittlesea and up the twisties to Kinglake West where we met up with Gary and Yolanda and all enjoyed morning tea.

After morning tea we headed towards Kinglake and then turned left at the servo and down the back road to join the Melba highway to Glenburn then Break O Day, Flowerdale, turning right to Strath Creek turning again towards the Seymore Yea main road and headed to Yea where we had lunch.

When it was time to return home a number of riders headed towards Yarra Glen and the rest of us came back through Flowerdale, Kinglake West, Whittlesea. In my opinion this is a good ride with nice corners and scenery. We finished up back at the BP servo across the road from where we started. The weather was a bit cool till we got over the ranges and was a sunny afternoon.
